History

The Dark Ride universe

Our games share one world. A dark ride is a theme park attraction where visitors travel through themed scenes that tell a story using immersive environments, sound, lighting, and special effects. We are building that idea in virtual reality, as a park you can actually walk into.

Dark Ride is the full realisation of that idea. The smaller titles released before it are self-contained attractions within the same park, each exploring a different corner of the world and a different way to use the medium.

How we work

We are a small team working across creative direction, 3D art, animation, music, and engineering. Our games are built for Meta Quest, Steam VR, and Apple Vision Pro.

We favour relaxed, tactile, low-pressure design: no timers, no fail states, no stress. The goal is a space that rewards curiosity and is comfortable for players who have never put on a headset before.
